Paracas & Nasca Full Day

Duration : 0 days
Category : Pacific Coast Tours
Difficulty : 1

Paracas peninsula is one of the world’s great marine reserves and was formally home to one of the Peru most important civilization: As you bob in a boat to the ballestas islands to watch the seabirds, look the giant candelabra, drawn on the cliffs by unknown hands. The enigmatic Nasca Lines remembered for its cryptic geometric figures etched across 500 sq km on the desert of Palpa and San Jose pampas are casting new light on the mystery.

  • Private transport Lima-Paracas-Ica-Lima

  • Ballestas islands. They are eroded into numerous arches and caves, hence their name –Ballestas means bow, as in archery; these arches provide shatter for thousands of seabirds, some of which are very rare and countless sea loins.

  • Huacachina Oasis. An attractive desert oasis 5 km from ica. Set around a palm-fringed lake and aimed impressive sand dunes. Chance to enjoy doing the sandboarding or perhaps the Dune Buggies.

  • Fly over the nasca lines from Ica. Cut into the stony desert are large numbers of lines, mostly parallels and geometrical figures, but also designs such as a kill whale, the monkey, the birds, the spider and a tree. The lines which best can be appreciated from the air. Were etched on the Palpa and San Jose pampas by the nasca people.
