Paracas peninsula is one of the world’s great marine reserves and was formally home to one of the Peru most important civilization: As you bob in a boat to the ballestas islands to watch the seabirds, look the giant candelabra, drawn on the cliffs by unknown hands. The enigmatic Nasca Lines remembered for its cryptic geometric figures etched across 500 sq km on the desert of Palpa and San Jose pampas are casting new light on the mystery.
